Donations may be made to any one or more of our on-going funds or events:
General Fund - donations go toward administrative expenses and other expenses required for the day-to-day operations of
TRIO of Northeast Florida
Donate Life Day - contributions help promote organ donation at TRIO's annual Donate Life Day event in April. For more
information on Donate Life Day, click here.
Christmas Day Dinner - assistance provides a Christmas Day dinner for transplant patients and their families who are
temporarily living in the Jacksonville area while they await transplant or are recovering from transplant. Gift baskets and
food gift certificates are also provided for those who cannot attend the dinner. Typically 60-80 people in total are served.
Scholarship Fund - all contributions go toward an annual scholarship provided to a TRIO of Northeast Florida member or
family member who is attending an accredited school and is in need of financial assistance.
Medication Fund - donations assist transplant patients and those awaiting transplant with the costs of their medications.
Medications can often cost transplant patients hundreds or even thousands of dollars each month, causing some to skip
doses or simply go without. The fund helps to ensure that does not happen.
